Gideon's Redemption was such a wonderful book. I didn't want to put it down. Looking forward to reading more of his books. I only wish I would have started with volume 1.

This book is great-you will enjoy every action packed page-I love a good western and this one is hard to put down. 4th in the Henry series-you will love this book and the Henry family! "WOW! I just finished Gideon's Redemption!!! It kept me turning pages!! I loved the adventure and suspense throughout.
Needless to say some things didn't get done at home because I had to read the next chapter and the next and just one more.....
I hope there will be a book 5! I have to know what happens next in the lives of Gideon, Mary, Skerby, and so many more!!

This is the first one of the Henry series that I have read, but it was so captivating I may have to read the first three! The characters were believable and hard to walk away from. I had to know what was going to happen to them in the next chapter. I think this is the first western I have read, and I really liked this new genre. Mark has done a great job filling this book with exciting events that keep you turning the pages. I don't know if there is such a thing as an inspirational western, but this book would fit that description. Though there was a lot of fighting, I did not have to endure a ton of cursing. That was a nice perk to reading Gideon's Redemption. I also appreciated that Gideon made a life changing decision in regard to his line of work. I was cheering for Gideon all through the book.

I finished reading Gideon's Redemption last night. Stayed up late because I did not want to put it down. I have not read westerns in the past but the Henry Family Chronicles have opened me up to a whole new world. I have read them all in this series and enjoyed each one more and more. Definitely books you can read and re-read. I am loving this up and coming new author, Mark Herbkersman. Looking forward to the next one!
Having read and enjoyed the first three books in the HENRY FAMILY CHRONICLES, I eagerly anticipated reading the fourth book. I just finished reading GIDEON'S REDEMPTION and I definitely was not disappointed!! It was difficult to put the book down. I would finish one chapter and tell myself just one more chapter, and then another and another... It is full of adventure, action, suspense, twists, and turns. It is a great western book. I hope there will be a book five. I am looking forward to more books by Mark Herbkersman.
